We publish the real state of the work, updated every month. This register is public because traceability is only worth something if it can be checked: month after month, you can follow what has been translated, what has been audited, and what remains.

What our words mean. Translated: a first French rendering exists for every word of that part. Audited: that rendering has been reread and verified word by word under our protocol, and every correction has left a trace. Laid out: our studio has composed the pages in the mushaf layout. A part is only counted as audited once the word-by-word check is complete — we never count work in progress as finished.

The Qur’an is traditionally divided into thirty parts of roughly equal length, called Juzʼ. Here is the state of each one.

Juzʼ 10 appears after Juzʼ 11 to 17: it was reopened after a query and its audit is not complete. Layout work advances in parallel in our studio; for now we publish only the total, as our part-by-part tracking is not yet reliable enough to be made public.

Milestones reached

July 2026 A reference lexicon for the whole Qur’an
The Muʼjam was established: each Arabic term and the team’s translation decisions are recorded there, so that the same word is rendered the same way from one end of the Book to the other.
August 2026 A written audit protocol, applied
The word-by-word verification method was formalised: every correction leaves a trace, and every open question is flagged to the team rather than settled silently.
August 2026 Sixteen parts audited word by word
Juzʼ 1 to 9 and 11 to 17 have passed the full check. Open queries have been referred to the translators.

Work continues on the remaining parts. Each newly audited part will be published here, with its date.

Why publish all this? Because work on the Qur’an is a trust. Rather than announcing a date, we prefer to show where we actually stand — including when it moves more slowly than we hoped. Subscribers to our newsletter receive this update every month, in shāʼ Allah.
